Project Management Professional (PMP) is the most globally recognized certification in Project Management. It is managed and delivered by the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is based on the PMP Examination Specification in the PMBoK third Edition published by PMI in 2005.

Project Management continues to be one of the fastest growing career fields in business and the public Sector today. The content of this course is not just about meeting PMI examination requirements for certification, but more so about practical processes, tools and techniques for managing real life projects.

Following PMI's philosophy, a PMP certification provides project management practitioners with a globally recognized designation that serves as the basis on which they can competently practice as Project Managers in leading and directing projects. By obtaining the PMP certification, project management professionals also demonstrate their commitment to the profession.

Who should apply?

Individuals with a Project Management background who wish to enhance their project management skills as well as attain the prestigious International Project Management Professional (PMP) credential.

Pre- requisite learning

To be eligible to take the PMP exam, the participant is required to adhere to the following PMI Requirements as outlined in the PMP Credentials handbook:
Educational Background: High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree or Global Equivalent
Project Management Experience: Minimum five years/60 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 7,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks
Project Management Education: A minimum of 35 contact hours of formal education.

Educational Background: Bachelor’s Degree or Global Equivalent
Project Management experience: Minimum three years/36 months unique non-overlapping professional project management experience during which at least 4,500 hours were spent leading and directing project tasks
Project Management Education: 35 contact hours of formal education

According to the Project Management Institute, when you attain the PMP credential, you enjoy the prestige that comes from being the best in your field. Only then will you be able to fully appreciate the professional advantages derived from attaining the profession’s most globally recognized and respected credential. The PMP designation following your name tells current and potential employers that you have demonstrated a solid foundation of knowledge from which you can competently practice project management. Individuals who hold PMI's PMP credential demonstrate a proficient level of project management leadership skills, and as a result are able to command salaries that exceed those of their non-credentialed counterparts.

Training Methodology

Simlau Biztech Academy endeavors to ensure that delegates undergoing the training are prepared enough for international exams by the time they finish the course. This is made possible through our training methodology anchored on the 'Learning by Doing' philosophy. The 'Doing' part is concerned with real life projects instead of hypothetical projects that some training organizations most often rely on.

We also facilitate and endorse the PMP certification registration process for our delegates. It is worth noting that endorsement for registration by a Registered Project Management Training Provider is a strict requirement for the PMI International exams.
At Simlau Biztech Academy our intention is to groom our students as much as possible with sufficient practical skills and knowledge for the achievement of our target result of 100 percent in exam certification.
